The full Ansys suite of software is now available for researchers across all CMU North America locations. Computing Services provides license services and general information for Ansys software.

Type of license	Network concurrent license. Available only from CMU networks.

License code required	No, product is licensed from central server and requires an active CMU network connection.

Getting help using it	The University does not support this software. Ansys provides support resources for CMU affiliates.
Restrictions	Use for non-commercial research and academic purposes only.
Individual use rights upon termination of affiliation	None. All copies must be deleted upon termination of affiliation with Carnegie Mellon University.
