Installing Published Applications in Windows 7

  1. Login to your computer with your ECE or GOECE Domain credentials (i.e. username and password)
  2. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of your Desktop
  3. Click Control Panel on the Start Menu
  4. Select Get Programs (The Explorer window should now have a heading titled “Install a program from the network”)
  5. The list to the right will populate with a predefined, published list of software that is available to the currently logged-in user AND computer. You can filter this list with the ‘Category’ feature in the top right of the window.
    • Note: User AND computer can impact whether or not a software title is available.
  6. Choose a program listed that you wish to install.
  7. Allow the program to install.
    • Note: You may be able to install updates for packages installed in this manner.
