ITS Unscheduled Email Outage – Tue. Jan 28, 2014

At approximately 8:30pm on the evening of Tuesday, January 28, 2014, IT Services outbound email services and monitoring suffered a critical hardware failure.

Customers using the ECE IT Services email system would not have been able to send email messages during this outage.  Incoming email was delivered during this time since inbound email systems were operational.

Service was restored at 6:15am on Wednesday, January 30, 2014.  Email that was queued for sending would have been sent at this time.
